Welcome to the sixty ninth ever issue of Monday Morning Data Science from the Fred Hutch Data Science Laboratory. We are excited to show you what we have been working on (Fresh from the Lab), plus links that we think you would be interested in (Our Weekly Bookmarks Bar). Part of the purpose of this newsletter is to start conversations, so if you have a question or there is something you would like to share with us please let us know by responding directly to this email.
Fresh from the Lab
[Survey: Input on Data Science Training] The Data Science Lab would like to know more about your data science training needs and desires.
Your input to this short survey will help us better tailor the support we provide: https://bit.ly/dasl_2024. Please share with others, we value your thoughts!
Complete the survey by March 31st to be entered in a raffle to win some exclusive Data Science Lab swag.
[Event: Research Informatics Community Studios Kickoff] Craving a Bioinformatics and Research Computing Community? We’re trying something new at the Data Science Lab called Research Informatics Community Studios. We hope to make it a community space where it’s safe to learn and share ways to effectively do research informatics work with each other. Let’s explore techniques, share work, and conquer coding challenges together.
Should you come? If it sounds interesting, you should come. Community Studios is open to all backgrounds. Register here or at the link above.
Our Weekly Bookmarks Bar
