[Blog Post: Parallelization in R] In this blog post Henrik Bengtsson introduces the doFuture package in R, which introduces a new parallelization operator called
%dofuture%
. It addresses several drawbacks of the existing%dopar%
operator and provides benefits such as easier registration, consistent options across backends, improved control over parallelization, support for parallel random number generation, and better handling of errors and output. The post explains these advantages and provides guidance on migrating from%dopar%
to%dofuture%
.[The Password Game] Weβve been enjoying the Password Game all week, the less you know about it the better! One hint: brush up on your roman numerals.
